The USA: Military Arm Of The New World Order

The USA: Military Arm Of The New World Order

Is there any doubt that the United States of America is the military arm of the New World Order (NWO), as it has been since World War I?
Just as the City of London has functioned as the world headquarters for the financial arm of the NWO, and Vatican City has functioned as the religious headquarters for the NWO, Washington, DC has functioned as the military headquarters for the NWO.
Surely you have read or heard by now that each of these city states was set up as an autonomous political entity so that no one could control them except their masters within the Global Control Matrix (GCM). When you understand this reality, you can clearly understand all that has taken place with the US of A for the past hundred years. Viet Nam (What on earth were we ever doing there?), Korea (Why was MacArthur willing to drop an atom bomb there?), Argentina and Chile (The CIA plot to assassinate Allende was also about what?), Iraq (Twice!!), Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran (Economic warfare and stealth bombings), Cambodia and Laos, Cuba and Grenada, Nicaragua and El Salvador, Honduras and Panama, East Timor and Suharto’s Indonesian, Serbia and Bosnia, Somalia and Yemen, Libya and Syria, etc. etc., etc. Will the bellicose behavior ever end?!
If Americans only felt the pain and suffering caused by the US Government's war machine....
Here’s a pretty comprehensive listing of most of the overt military aggressions, conflicts, interventions engaged by the USA since 1775. This listing of “Extraterritorial and major domestic deployments”, as Wikipedia calls it, is as lengthy as it is overwhelming.
Timeline of United States military operations
There is no country on earth, not even the once all powerful British Empire, that has been engaged in so much military aggression over the past 100 years. Clearly, America’s destiny was to act as the enforcement strong-arm for the World Shadow Government (WSG). And so it does. Right up to this very day in both Syria and Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan. Even when American troops leave those theaters of war altogether, the USA will still enforce the dictates of the WSG, carry out the orders of the GCM and follow the agenda of the NWO by proxy.
What follows is a short photo-documentary of the symbolism of the NWO, especially as it appears in the capitals of aforementioned city states. Each of these obelisks is purposely located, specifically positioned and deliberately placed in relation to other power structures, all of which are designed to draw energy from each other.
Washington Monument in Washington, DC
Cleopatra's Needle in the City of London
Vaticano Obelisk in Vatican City
Architecture is both telling and significant in the unfoldment of the global agenda over centuries of the New World Order. In truth, what we see all about us is not the New World Order, but rather the Old World Order with a new and improved name — NWO. Looked at another way, the New World Order of which we all speak has been firmly in place for many decades in the US, and for many centuries throughout much of the world. With each advancement of the society and development of the civilization the NWO has simply morphed into a new manifestation.
However, the true hidden agenda remains throughout its entire existence, as do the basic strategies and tactics for keeping it in a position of ascendancy. Has anything really changed since the days of Rome – the First Reich? Or since Spain ruled a big parcel of the planet? Or since the days when the sun never set on the British Empire? Now that the Fourth Reich has come into its own in the form of Pax Americana, we can say that the 3rd Reich never even existed in Germany, except to set the stage for the American Empire.
So, there you have it — the 4th Reich is actually the nation which was supposed to have defeated the illusory 3rd Reich. What an awesome display of smoke and mirrors! Boy, did our history books ever miss this rather consequential and critical takeover of the 20th Century?!
United States Militarism, Global Instability and Environmental Destruction
What’s it like to live in the Belly of the Beast?
For all of us alive during the Viet Nam War, we can only answer that question by saying that it is at once wild and crazy, unpredictable and tumultuous, quite schizophrenic and frustrating. How so? When you pay unlawful taxes to a rogue government which uses the revenue to fund a military machine that wages war against the weakest nations among us, you … … …
When the electoral system is so fixed that both political parties are obviously two sides of the very same coin. And both candidates are beholden to the very same master. And when both platforms guarantee a war posture throughout the world that will always come at the expense of economic justice, social equity and environmental concerns … … …
"Juggernaut: a massive, inexorable force that crushes everything in its path." — Oxford Dictionary
As US citizens who have grown up within the confines of American society, we have been so conditioned to believe that America can do no wrong … when in fact the US Federal Government has evolved into a global bully which can do very little right outside of its own borders. What can be said about a juggernaut that just rolls its well oiled military machine across the planet, anytime it wants to?!
The reason that the USA has institutionalized might makes right is because it possesses just enough might to hold sway. Where “You’re either with us or against us” worked during the Bush dictatorships, it won’t work in the years to come. Even with the fraudulent smiles of Obama putting a friendly face on war, American hegemony is on its last gasps. The financial and economic state of the union is making the projection of American power virtually impossible to sustain into this new millennium. The carrot and stick approach taken toward our international neighbors is simply untenable going forward. How do you spell E C O N O M I C —> D E P R E S S I O N ?
Neither the carrot nor the stick can be paid for any longer, especially with a federal debt ballooning out of control for decades. Which brings us back to the plight of the nation due to its role as the “Military Arm Of The New World Order”. The unfortunate predicament of the baby boomers and beatniks is quickly manifesting, as many have been forced to postpone their retirements. Many have even been financially compelled to come out of retirement. Not a nice situation! Especially when you have been sickened by the excesses of American corpocracy.
Corporate fascism will all but guarantee that every entitlement program will eventually come under intense scrutiny. Therefore, the entire security net placed around the society is vulnerable to being torn in various and sundry ways. Just like Rome, the price of empire must always be paid sooner or later. With the real estate and stock market crashes of 2007 and 2008 respectively, the repercussions are slowly being felt given the massive degree of asset deflation which has been taking place in slow motion.
How long before the USA decides to shrink its appropriations for defense (war-making and conflict management yankee-style)? How much longer can the Defense Budget be greater than all the other defense budgets of all the other nations in the world put together?! When total military outlays exceeds 50% of all expenditures made in the conduct of the nation’s business, we have a very serious problem. Either the USA has a lot of enemies, or the US Government plans on making a lot of enemies.
Did you know that “the United States accounts for 47 percent of the world’s total military spending, however the U.S.’s share of the world’s GDP is about 21 percent.”[1] There’s quite a bit of other very interesting information at the same site, incidentally at WarResisters.org. Like the answers to the question that is asked about how safe we are with so much military spending[2].

Modern-day coliseums, video games and bovine growth hormone
American society has been ordered in such a way so as to justify these wildly exorbitant expenditures on constant military buildup and war machine maintenance. This has been accomplished in a number of ways, most of which occur below the radar. The drumbeat heard in every sports stadium in the country is one example. Each athletic season has its own sport which so mesmerizes the nation that the Super Bowl commercials are the most expensive in TV history. The relentless and fierce competition keep a populace conditioned in the constant state of “taking sides”. Winning at all cost becomes the mantra, for young kids and elderly octogenarians alike.
The subliminal psychological conditioning which takes place throughout the sports culture is so effective it often forms the moral touchstone for youth even as they mature. The locker rooms they grew up in function as the gladiator pits of old. The constant din of drum and horn provide the foretaste of what is to occur before the athletic combat, just as occurred on the battlefields of yore. The cheering and hand-clapping provide encouragement to win … no matter what the sacrifice. To win at all costs.
The jam-packed stadiums provide a moral backdrop for all that transpires in these present-day coliseums offering both prestige and glorification for all the actions conducted in the interest of winning. The ubiquitous office betting pools even allow those who can’t attend the weekend ‘big event’ to participate vicariously through their bets, small though they may be. Of course, the hats and caps, shirts and jerseys, keep alive the mantras of athletic battles, mimicking the helmets and shoulder pads worn on the field.
Welcome to the dominant American past-time, *football* seven days a week during season and especially on every major holiday.

Next we come to violent video games. What better way to capture a young and impressionable mind than to steer it in the direction of gratuitous and mindless violence. After years of exposure to this highly effective mind control program, some kids will quite willingly pick up a gun and shoot their own friends, much less ‘the enemy’ in a foreign land. Not too difficult to perceive the agenda behind the extraordinary proliferation of shockingly violent kid vids.
Then there are all the food additives, vitamin enrichments, protein powders, super hormones, muscles mass builders and other newfangled chemical magic that is supposed to make the kid … adolescent … young adult bigger and stronger, faster and taller. Bovine growth hormone is just one of many measures taken to ensure that the kids who grow up in the land of American Empire will assume a profile on the battlefield that is substantially larger and more intimidating than any foreigner he comes face to face with in any combat zone around the globe. Also known as BGH or BST (short for Bovine somatotropin), this synthetic hormone is of course a product of Monsanto and guaranteed to grow you big.
“Since 1994 it has been possible to synthesize the BST hormone using recombinant DNA technology to create recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST), recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH), or artificial growth hormone. Monsanto was the first to develop the technology and marketed it as “Posilac”—a brand now owned by Elanco Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly and Company.
Posilac was banned from use in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel and all European Union countries (currently numbering 27), by 2000 or earlier.”[2]
What does an Iraqi or Afghani think and feel when confronted with such an alien soldier decked out with battle accoutrements that only billions of $$$s can buy?
Sure isn’t a nice way to meet your neighbors, is it?! Especially when that huge, muscular, BGH-fed body is attired in full body combat gear. Would you want to mess with a piece of work that looks like this ? ? ?
When you’re buying guns, you’re not buying butter.
The USA has been known for years not to take care of their poor, their homeless, their war veterans, their single moms, their mentally handicapped, their physically disabled, their medically uninsured, their unborn. Basically the most vulnerable and powerless in American society have always received short shrift. Except now that predicament is about to be extended to an entire demographic(s). From baby boomers who cannot be supported by a shrinking tax base to recent college grads who can’t even get a job, and who are living with their baby boomer parents. All because the USA is used as the military arm of the World Shadow Government.
Wow, where do we go from here?
What else is sacrificed in the interest of controlling the natural resources of the planet? Well, just about everything eventually. The whole way of life has been mortgaged for so long, and for so many years into the future. When the federal debt ceiling is forever increased to accommodate war expenditures which have no basis in reality, what can possibly be expected.
At this late date, we truly wonder what could save the USA from the crazy and convoluted karma it has created for well over a century. Should the Highest Power grant a reprieve surely such mercy would come with the price tag of good ole fashioned repentence, yes? Perhaps the following omen ought to be considered much more closely.
9/11: An OMEN for the New Millennium
In the meantime we all suffer with the following facts of life in a country that is consigned to starting and ending all wars throughout the earthly realm:
(i) a flouridated water supply to compromise the pineal gland and remove critical thinking from the populace
(ii) chemtrail-laden air to weaken and undermine the immune system forcing the unaware into the clutches of the pharmaceutical-medical complex.
(iii) food that is devoid of minerals and other essential nutritive constituents because of chemical farming, which also poisons the land and leaves toxins in the produce.
(iv) vaccination programs which inject mercury, sqaulene and other dangerous substances into the delicate and sensitive bodies of our children.
(v) a pharmaceutical regime that is enforced and promoted with zeal in every medical establishment across the land
(vi) an all-powerful medical complex that encourages chemo, radiation and surgery, as it discourages the alternative healing modalities, holistic wellness approaches and natural methods of curing
(vii) an obnoxious TV or two or three in every household beaming negative energy and propaganda messages which disseminate violence, profanity, sex and crudity 24/7
(viii) an educational system which indoctrinates with propaganda and brainwashes with false facts and figures that are as meaningless as they are dangerous to the impressionable mind
(ix) a political order that does’t even maintain the appearance of propriety or act in the interest of the people
(x) an economic marketplace and financial system devoid of integrity, whose institutions have been in a free-fall collapse since the crash of 2008
(xi) social disintegration lead by the destruction of the nuclear family, proliferation of sexual deviance, promotion of the celebrity society, glorification of mercenary sports, spreading of fanatical religiosity, and worship of the Almighty Dollar
Chemtrails are a form of Atmospheric Engineering which contain barium salts and aluminum oxide.
Let’s stop here before anyone gets too depressed and falls into despair. There is after all a very bright side to this whole undeniable scenario. It is this:
Each of us was put here to live our lives the best way we know how. During the Viet Nam War (VNW), the hippies and beatniks and peace activists were successful in shutting down a major corporate-driven war. Perhaps the first time in recorded history that a popular movement was responsible for accomplishing such a feat. An extraordinary feat of courage and bravery, of principle and idealism, of perseverance and endurance, of faith and love. Truly, the termination of the Viet Nam War was one of the greatest acts by the greatest popular movement of the modern era.
What does the VNW have to do with us and where the world is today? The very same spirit that shut down that war can bring the current USA war machine to a halt. Just as Ron Paul won most of the straw polls within the Republican primary season because of his platform to close up the US military bases worldwide and bring home the troops, a political sea change is ripe for the happening because there is a very strong and pervasive sentiment to change the course of American foreign policy …  forever.
Only the people can alter such a deeply rooted military culture. Only the electorate can vote out* of office the war parties and war candidates who are personally enriched by such a self-destructive agenda. Only a steeled will and courageous heart can break the military arm of the NWO.
*If no one ever voted for the lesser of the two evils (both parties obviously represent two sides of the same counterfeit coin), then the system could be sufficiently collapsed to begin anew. Not voting is also voting, as well as a potent way of registering your complete rejection of the current electoral process.

**Pat Tillman, an American football star who volunteered to serve his country as an Army ranger, found out the hard way about the real US foreign policy that is administered at the end of the barrel of gun. After the US Army used his image to draft lots of 18 year olds, Pat was killed by friendly fire after revealing his anti-war views and intentions to tell the truth about the illegal invasion of Iraq. He came to regard the US military involvement in Afghanistan as a war crime, which he then made the mistake of sharing during his tour of duty there. In Pat Tillman’s case, we have a true hero not because he served bravely in the Armed Forces, but because he was willing to sacrifice his reputation and life to tell the truth about the barbarism of American war policy.

U.S. Labels ALL Young Men In Battle Zones As “Militants"...

...And American Soil Is Now Considered a Battle Zone

Source: Washingtons Blog

Glenn Greenwald has two must-read posts on the reason that virtually everyone the U.S. kills is called a “militant” or “suspected militant”.
He wrote Monday:
glenn headlines 460x307 U.S. Labels ALL Young Men In Battle Zones As Militants ... And American Soil Is Now Considered a Battle Zone
Virtually every time the U.S. fires a missile from a drone and ends the lives of Muslims, American media outlets dutifully trumpet in headlines that the dead were ”militants” – even though those media outlets literally do not have the slightest idea of who was actually killed. They simply cite always-unnamed “officials” claiming that the dead were “militants.” It’s the most obvious and inexcusable form of rank propaganda: media outlets continuously propagating a vital claim without having the slightest idea if it’s true.
This practice continues even though key Obama officials have been caught lying, a term used advisedly, about how many civilians they’re killing. I’ve written and said many times before that in American media discourse, the definition of “militant” is any human being whose life is extinguished when an American missile or bomb detonates (that term was even used when Anwar Awlaki’s 16-year-old American son, Abdulrahman, was killed by a U.S. drone in Yemen two weeks after a drone killed his father, even though nobody claims the teenager was anything but completely innocent: “Another U.S. Drone Strike Kills Militants in Yemen”).
This morning, the New York Times has a very lengthy and detailed article about President Obama’s counter-Terrorism policies based on interviews with “three dozen of his current and former advisers.” I’m writing separately about the numerous revelations contained in that article, but want specifically to highlight this one vital passage about how the Obama administration determines who is a “militant.” The article explains that Obama’s rhetorical emphasis on avoiding civilian deaths “did not significantly change” the drone program, because Obama himself simply expanded the definition of a “militant” to ensure that it includes virtually everyone killed by his drone strikes. Just read this remarkable passage: Mr. Obama embraced a disputed method for counting civilian casualties that did little to box him in. It in effect counts all military-age males in a strike zone as combatants, according to several administration officials, unless there is explicit intelligence posthumously proving them innocent.
Counterterrorism officials insist this approach is one of simple logic: people in an area of known terrorist activity, or found with a top Qaeda operative, are probably up to no good. “Al Qaeda is an insular, paranoid organization — innocent neighbors don’t hitchhike rides in the back of trucks headed for the border with guns and bombs,” said one official, who requested anonymity to speak about what is still a classified program.
This counting method may partly explain the official claims of extraordinarily low collateral deaths. In a speech last year Mr. Brennan, Mr. Obama’s trusted adviser, said that not a single noncombatant had been killed in a year of strikes. And in a recent interview, a senior administration official said that the number of civilians killed in drone strikes in Pakistan under Mr. Obama was in the “single digits” — and that independent counts of scores or hundreds of civilian deaths unwittingly draw on false propaganda claims by militants.
But in interviews, three former senior intelligence officials expressed disbelief that the number could be so low. The C.I.A. accounting has so troubled some administration officials outside the agency that they have brought their concerns to the White House. One called it “guilt by association” that has led to “deceptive” estimates of civilian casualties.
“It bothers me when they say there were seven guys, so they must all be militants,” the official said. “They count the corpses and they’re not really sure who they are.”
The next day, Greenwald noted:
In 2006, the pro-Israel activist Alan Dershowitz created a serious scandal when he argued – mostly in order to justify Israeli aggression — that “civilian causalties” are a “gray area” because many people in close proximity to Terrorists — even if not Terrorists themselves — are less than innocent (“A new phrase should be introduced into the reporting and analysis of current events in the Middle East: ‘the continuum of civilianality’ . . . . Every civilian death is a tragedy, but some are more tragic than others”).
Even more repellent was John Podhoretz’s argument in 2006 that “the tactical mistake” which “we made in Iraq was that we didn’t kill enough Sunnis in the early going to intimidate them and make them so afraid of us they would go along with anything,” specifically that the real error was that the U.S. permitted “the survival of Sunni men between the ages of 15 and 35.” In other words, “all military-age males” in Sunni areas should have been deemed “combatants” and thus killed. Podhoretz’s argument created all sorts of outrage in progressive circles: John Podhoretz is advocating genocide!
But this is precisely the premise that President Obama himself has now adopted in order to justify civilian deaths and re-classify them as “militants.” Here is the rationale of Obama officials as described by the NYT: “people in an area of known terrorist activity, or found with a top Qaeda operative, are probably up to no good.” Probably up to no good. That’s a direct replica of Dershowitz’s argument, and is closely related to Podhoretz’s. They count someone as a “militant” — worthy of death — based purely on the happenstance of where they are and the proximity they’re in to someone else they suspect is a Bad Person. If such a person is killed by a U.S. missile, then, by definition, they are “militants,” not “civilians” — even if we don’t know the first thing about them, including their name.
Will This Policy Apply to Americans On U.S. Soil?
This may sound like something far away which won’t directly affect Americans.
But the military now considers the U.S. homeland to be a battlefield.  As we noted in March:
Fox News reports:
FBI Director Robert Mueller on Wednesday said he would have to go back and check with the Department of Justice whether Attorney General Eric Holder’s “[criteria] for the targeted killing of Americans also applied to Americans inside the U.S.
***
“I have to go back. Uh, I’m not certain whether that was addressed or not,” Mueller said when asked by Rep. Tom Graves, R-Ga., about a distinction between domestic and foreign targeting
Graves followed up asking whether “from a historical perspective,” the federal government has “the ability to kill a U.S. citizen on United States soil or just overseas.”
“I’m going to defer that to others in the Department of Justice,” Mueller replied.
Indeed, Holder’s Monday speech at Northwestern University seemed to leave the door open.
Constitutional expert Jonathan Turley writes:
One would hope that the FBI Director would have a handle on a few details guiding his responsibilities, including whether he can kill citizens without a charge or court order.
***
He appeared unclear whether he had the power under the Obama Kill Doctrine or, in the very least, was unwilling to discuss that power. For civil libertarians, the answer should be easy: “Of course, I do not have that power under the Constitution.”
***
The claim that they are following self-imposed “limits” which are meaningless — particularly in a system that is premised on the availability of judicial review. The Administration has never said that the [Law Of Armed Conflicts] does not allow the same powers to be used in the United States. It would be an easy thing to state. Holder can affirmatively state that the President’s inherent power to kill citizens exists only outside of the country. He can then explain where those limits are found in the Constitution and why they do not apply equally to a citizen in London or Berlin. Holder was not describing a constitutional process of review. They have dressed up a self-imposed review of a unilateral power as due process. Any authoritarian measure can be dressed up as carefully executed according to balancing tests, but that does not constitute any real constitutional analysis. It is at best a loose analogy to constitutional analysis.
When reporters asked the Justice Department about Mueller’s apparent uncertainty, they responded that the answer is “pretty straightforward.” They then offered an evasive response. They simply said (as we all know) that “[t]he legal framework (Holder) laid out applies to U.S. citizens outside of U.S.” We got that from the use of the word “abroad.” However, the question is how this inherent authority is limited as it has been articulated by Holder and others. What is the limiting principle? If the President cannot order the killing of a citizen in the United States, Holder can simply say so (and inform the FBI Director who would likely be involved in such a killing). In doing so, he can then explain the source of that limitation and why it does not apply with citizens in places like London. What we have is a purely internal review that balances the practicality of arrest and the urgency of the matter in the view of the President. Since the panel is the extension of his authority, he can presumably disregard their recommendations or order a killing without their approval. Since the Administration has emphasized that the “battlefield” in this “war on terror” is not limited to a particular country, the assumption is that the President’s authority is commensurate with that threat or limitless theater of operation. Indeed, the Justice Department has repeatedly stated that the war is being fought in the United States as well as other nations.
Thus, Mueller’s uncertainty is understandable . . . and dangerous. The Framers created a system of objective due process in a system of checks and balances. Obama has introduced an undefined and self-imposed system of review ….
Before you assume that Mueller’s comments are being blown out of proportion, remember that it has been clear for some time that Obama has claimed the power to assassinate U.S. citizens within the U.S. As we pointed out in December: I’ve previously noted that Obama says that he can assassinate American citizens living on U.S. soil. This admittedly sounds over-the-top. But one of the nation’s top constitutional and military law experts – Jonathan Turley – agrees.
***
Turley said [on C-Span]:
President Obama has just stated a policy that he can have any American citizen killed without any charge, without any review, except his own. If he’s satisfied that you are a terrorist, he says that he can kill you anywhere in the world including in the United States.
Two of his aides just … reaffirmed they believe that American citizens can be killed on the order of the President anywhere including the United States.
You’ve now got a president who says that he can kill you on his own discretion. He can jail you indefinitely on his own discretion
Remember, government officials have said that Americans can be targets in the war on terror.
And Northwestern University’s law school professor Joseph Margulies said:
Obama and Bush … both say we are in a war not confined to particular battlefield. … Both say we can target citizens without judicial oversight and that can happen anywhere in the world.
Indeed, the Army is already being deployed on U.S. soil, and the military is conducting numerous training exercises on American streets. And see this.

And the numerous drones flying over American soil – projected by the FAA to reach 30,000 drones by 2020 – are starting to carry arms.

Remember, the Department of Justice attorney who wrote the memo “justifying” torture – John Yoo – also recently said that drones could be used against Americans living on U.S. soil in time of war:

Of course, America has been in a continuous declared state of national emergency since 9/11, and we are in a literally never-ending state of perpetual war. See this, this, this and this. And the government has basically announced that it can label any American citizen a terrorist for no reason whatsoever. So if a military-age man is killed in a U.S. city because he happens – even unknowingly – to be near a suspected bad guy, will the report simply read “another militant killed”?

“I can tell you something all of you know already - that using pepper spray on peaceful protesters runs counter to our values. It does not reflect well on this university and it absolutely is not who we are.”

Ripping families apart by deporting the undocumented parents of American-born children is “not who we are.”
-- President Barack Obama

“This larger notion that the only thing we can do to restore prosperity is just dismantle government, refund everybody's money, and let everyone write their own rules, and tell everyone they're on their own -- that's not who we are.”
-- President Barack Obama

“You can't say, well, we developed trade and the economic relations first and the disregard of human rights. That's not who we are. We are the United States of America.”
-- Sasha Gong, director of the China branch of Voice of America

The latest PR catch phrase from business, administration, military, state and local officials after some atrocity or other is that whatever happened, it is certainly “not who we are,” a phrase appropriately initially uttered by the Vietnam War commander, Gen. William Westmoreland, with reference to the My Lai slaughter of 400 women, children and old men, all civilians, by a group of US soldiers.
Not who we are?American atrocities: Not who we are? Really?

Yet if all these abominations are not “who we are,” then why do our business, police and military and government institutions generate so many examples of obscene, horrific or criminal behavior?

If we examine the culture that guides our young men and women in battle, our public safety employees in their duties, or our business class in its pursuit of profit, it’s easy to see how shameful and reprehensible episodes such as these have become as routine as they have.

Take the military. The Pentagon achieves its ends by through war. Troops must be obedient and willing to kill. This doesn't come naturally, so the military branches have to reprogram civilian recruits raised to believe killing is wrong so that they can be part of a murderous enterprise. After breaking down an enlistee's individuality, trainers then teach them to despise “the other,” whomever it may be -- kraut, gook, rag-head depending on the generation and the particular war. Only after sufficiently dehumanizing both the recruit and the future enemy can they mold a soldier who will do the dirty work demanded by an imperial nation. Then they build these soldiers into super-fit, adrenaline-charged fighters, surround them with propaganda that demonizes the enemy of the moment, and set them loose to “get the job done.”

The troops who are sent to Afghanistan find themselves in a conflict with no clear objective, let alone an achievable one. They face an able and motivated foe with a very simple objective: to drive the occupier out of their country. As U.S. losses mount, frustrations grow and pressure increases. It is an unfortunate commonplace that armed troops vent their anger with lethal force upon local civilian populations. Their ability to do that is part and parcel of their training that worked so hard to dehumanize these same people.

It is a sick hypocrisy for Obama, Clinton, Panetta, or Allen to claim that these actions are not a direct result of U.S. military and foreign policy. If Dick Cheney and John Yoo were torturing language and logic to advocate the torture of humans, why wouldn't guards at Abu Ghraib fall into the same debased state of mind? (For example, years after he claimed it was "not who we are," documents proved that, ahead of the My Lai massacre, Westmoreland himself had issued rules-of-engagement orders that any civilians found in Communist-held territory like My Lai, a "free-fire" zone, were to be considered enemy combatants, and treated the same as Viet Cong.)

Those in power attempt to frame the issue within the “one bad apple in the barrel” rubric. As long as they can pretend that war crimes and atrocities aren’t a logical outcome of official policy, they can shift blame to those without power and keep the odious policies in place. The cabinet secretary sanctimoniously intones platitudes about morality at the same time as one of his underlings is screaming “KILL!” into a fresh recruit's trembling face.

The same kind of thing happens in the case of police and federal law enforcement officials. Increasingly militarized themselves, they are trained to believe not that their duty is to “protect and serve” or to uphold the nation’s freedoms and liberty, but rather that they are centurions tasked with enforcing “order” and protecting property--generally government property and the property of the wealthy. The general public then becomes a kind of “enemy” to be subdued with whatever force is necessary. Those who stand up for their rights under the law are perceived as threats to the authority of the enforcers, and are dealt with as enemies, to be beaten, pepper-sprayed in the face, spied upon and locked up.

Meanwhile, a farce of morals plays itself out in an endless cycle in the business world. Siemens, Boeing, Wal-Mart are just three prominent recent examples of corporations which have been exposed for using bribery as a standard business practice. Sam Walton may have started his company with some notion of honest (if ruthless) business practices, but the current business culture promotes success at any cost. Coming in second is for losers, and bribery of foreign (and domestic) officials is just another tool in the toolbox, as they like to say.

Just because these shameful acts may indeed indicate who or what our Empire's institutions are, it does not mean that it is who we are as well. Most Americans, as well as most Afghans, Iraqis, Iranians etc., would not commit the types of acts that have made our nation infamous over the years. But if we are truly better than that, if this is not who we are, then we had better do something about the fact we are being represented to the world by the very actions that we find so heinous.

Even as countries are being abused by U.S. foreign policy, their people are often slow to blame or hate the American people. They often show a remarkable understanding that governments rarely represent their peoples' wishes.

But we are the nation that is burdened by an impassioned rhetoric that asserts that we are the beacon of democracy, that we are captains of our own destiny. Our supposed innocence of the crimes of Empire and rapacious capitalism can be accepted for only so long. Eventually, we too must share the blame for the actions of our government and our economic culture. It is essential that we do hold every level of business and government accountable for every action that betrays America's promise, both at home and abroad.

It is time to stop pretending that we are not also accountable. It is time to end militarism at home and abroad and to put people before profits. It won't be the militarists and the profiteers who make such changes, though. It can only be us.

Otherwise, maybe former Dallas Cowboys coach Bill Parcells had it right, when he said, "You are what your record says you are."

“We are Preparing for Massive Civil War,” Says DHS Informant

In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.

“Folks, we’re getting ready for one massive economic collapse,” Hagmann told TruNews host Rick Wiles.

“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”

Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the  concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed.

Uprisings in Greece is, indeed, a problem, but an uprising of armed Americans becomes a matter of serious national security, a point addressed in a recent report by the Pentagon and highlighted as a vulnerability and threat to the U.S. during war-game exercises at the Department of Defense last year, according to one of the DoD’s war-game participants, Jim Rickards, author of Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis.

Through his sources, Hagmann confirmed Rickards’ ongoing thesis of a fear of a U.S. dollar collapse at the hands of the Chinese (U.S. treasury bond holders of approximately $1 trillion) and, possibly, the Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar) in retaliation for aggressive U.S. foreign policy initiatives against China’s and Russia’s strategic allies Iran and Syria.
“The one source that we have I’ve known since 1979,” Hagmann continued.  “He started out as a patrol officer and currently he is now working for a federal agency under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security; he’s in a position to know what policies are being initiated, what policies are being planned at this point, and he’s telling us right now—look, what you’re seeing is just the tip of the iceberg.  We are preparing, we, meaning the government, we are preparing for a massive civil war in this country.”
“There’s no hyperbole here,” he added, echoing Trends Research Institute’s Founder Gerald Celente’s forecast of last year.  Celente expects a collapse of the U.S. dollar and riots in America some time this year.
Since Celente’s ‘Civil War’ prediction of last year, executive orders NDAA and National Defense Resources Preparedness were signed into law by President Obama, which are both politically damaging actions taken by a sitting president.

And most recently, requests made by the DHS for the procurement of 450 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition only fuels speculation of an upcoming tragic event expected on American soil.

These major events, as shocking to the American people as they are, have taken place during an election year.

Escalating preparatory activities by the executive branch and DHS throughout the last decade—from the Patriot Act, to countless executive orders drafted to suspend (or strip) American civil liberties  “are just the beginning” of the nightmare to come, Hagmann said. He added, “It’s going to get so much worse toward the election, and I’m not even sure we’re going to have an election in this country.  It’s going to be that bad, and this, as well, is coming from my sources.  But one source in particular said, ‘look, you don’t understand how bad it is.’  This stuff is real; these people, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they are ready to fight the American people.”

TruNews Wiles asked Hagmann: who does the DHS expect to fight, in particular?  Another North versus South, the Yankees against the Confederates?  Hagmann stated the situation is far worse than a struggle between any two factions within the U.S.; it’s an anticipated nationwide emergency event centered on the nation’s currency.

“What they [DHS] are expecting, and again, this is according to my sources, what they’re expecting is the un-sustainability of the American dollar,” Hagmann said.  “And we know for a fact that we can no longer service our debt.  There’s going to be a period of hyperinflation . . . the dollar will be worthless . . . The economic collapse will be so severe, people won’t be ready for this.”

Alleged US Army doc: re-education camps and psy-op missions aimed at activists

"Re-Education Camps for Political Activists" - run by PSY-OPS.

Sounds familiar, I wonder where we heard these orwellian phrases used before to devastating effect?

An American military document just uncovered appears to detail an US Army plan that calls for detaining “political activists” at re-education camps staffed by military-hired “PSYOP officers” in both America and abroad.

The website Infowars.com has unearthed the smoking gun, a copy of a United States military manual entitled FM 3-39.40 Internment and Resettlement Operations, which appears to offer Defense Department insiders instructions on dealing with the imprisonment of anyone considered an enemy to the American way of life and how to go about indoctrination them with an “appreciation of US policies and actions” through psychological warfare.

The PDF made available is dated February 2010 but has only now been leaked online. A copy of the document has been uploaded to the website PublicIntelligence.net for viewing, and additionally a version appears to be hosted on the US Military’s Doctrine and Training Publications page at armypubs.us.army.mil, although access to papers published there are unavailable to those without the Pentagon’s authorization, therefore making it impossible to verify the authenticity of the manual at this time. The military site that appears to host a copy has also implemented security measures on its servers that it cautions visitors are “not for your personal benefit or privacy.”

Further, the title page of the manual warns that the material contained in its 326 pages is be distributed to US Defense Department and its contractors only, and that must be “destroy[ed] by any method that will prevent disclosure of contents or construction of the document.”

“This manual addresses I/R [Internment and Resettlement] operations across the spectrum of conflict, specifically the doctrinal paradigm shift from traditional enemy prisoner of war (EPW) operations to the broader and more inclusive requirements of detainee operations,” the paper’s authors explain in the first paragraph of the documents preface. From there, it goes on to explain that the methods of psychological warfare and brainwashing of persons applies to “US military prisoners, and multiple categories of detainees (civilian internees [CIs], retained personnel [RP], and enemy combatants), while resettlement operations are focused on multiple categories of dislocated civilians (DCs).”

The manual continues by describing categories of personnel whom are certain guidelines of the manual apply. A detainee, for example, is any person captured by an armed force, but does not include personnel held for law enforcement purposes — except where the US is the occupying power. Civilian internees are described as anyone “interned during armed conflict, occupation, or other military operation for security reasons, for protection, or because he or she committed an offense against the detaining power.”
“An adaptive enemy will manipulate populations that are hostile to US intent by instigating mass civil disobedience, directing criminal activity, masking their operations in urban and other complex terrain, maintaining an indistinguishable presence through cultural anonymity and actively seeking the raditional sanctuary of protected areas as defined by the rules of land warfare,” reads the paper.

“Commanders will use technology and conduct police intelligence operations to influence and control populations, evacuate detainees and, conclusively, transition rehabilitative and reconciliation operations to other functional agencies.”

On their own part, Infowars.com details the manual by writing, “We have exhaustively documented preparations for the mass internment of citizens inside America, but this is the first time that language concerning the re-education of detainees, in particular political activists, has cropped up in our research.”

Throughout the manual, the DoD outlines methods to go about detaining US military prisoners captured for both “battlefield and nonbattlefield confinement,” how to rehabilitate them to “ensure a successful return to society” and “psychological operations (PSYOP), practices and procedures to support I/R operations.”

Fifty-six pages into the manual, its authors explain the role of psychological operations officers regarding internment and resettlement, and explain that they will be responsible for developing methods designed “to pacify and acclimate detainees or DCs to accept U.S. I/R facility authority and regulations.” PSYOP officers, the manual adds, identify “malcontents, trained agitators, and political leaders within the facility who may try to organize resistance or create disturbances.”

The manual also demands that the PSYOP officers overseeing the detainment camps identify “political activists” for indoctrination.
